I had a newsletter typed up and ready to send, but then I saw what OpenAI announced today and had to share this.
Their new AI text-to-video model (called Sora) is… insane.
This technology will 100% change the landscape of filmmaking.
So instead of a normal newsletter, I recorded a video of my reactions & thoughts to this development:
If you don’t have time, here’s an example of a (heavily compressed) video that was generated entirely by AI from a simple text prompt:
Sora is already capable of making videos up to 60 seconds long with multiple cuts from a single prompt.
