Time to open the doors for more short film critiques on the Standard Story Co. channel!
Instead of having you email me a film, I’ve created a simple submission form that should only take a couple minutes to fill out.
From now on, any films directly emailed to me will not be considered for critiques. This form is the only way to submit.
I’ve already gone through all of the original submissions, and have a few earmarked for potential critiques down the road. Don’t re-submit your film if you emailed it to me previously.
I’m so glad this series of videos has been fun and valuable for y’all, because I love making them. I’ll keep posting critique videos like this about once a month.
Shameless Plug:
This week’s YouTube video about re-writing our short film The Lost Fortune of Oliver Brody has possibly the most fundamental (yet easy-to-overlook) rule for writing & re-writing any film, plus it updates you on what’s happening with this project. Check it out!
Much more to come in this series.

Let’s make some movies.
